The hospitality industry is often perceived as a static business. Create a food and drink offering, hire quality staff, and voilà – your restaurant is ready. But the process is far from as simple as it looks. In reality, hospitality is a living, breathing thing. A restaurant must constantly evolve and adapt to the needs of its guests, because guest satisfaction is always the ultimate goal.
Constantin is a restaurant primarily focused on Italian cuisine, but starting this spring, together with our kitchen team, we decided that after 4 years, it’s time to introduce some fresh additions to our new menu.
We’re excited to present the new selection of dishes on our menu, rooted in traditional local cuisine but with a signature twist from our kitchen.
FOR BREAKFAST, we’ve added two new options:
- SUKANA PIE FOR TWO (crispy and filled with delicious cheese and clotted cream, a great choice to share a hearty and tasty meal that will keep you full all day),
- and a lighter option: OMEGA BRUSCHETTA (topped with avocado spread, smoked salmon, and a tomato-garlic salsa).
When it comes to new warm starters, highlights include:
- FRIED FETA (served on a bed of arugula and zucchini with smoked honey sauce – a crispy and fun dish while you wait for your main course),
- BEEFSTEAK ROLLS (with pumpkin sauce),
- and HOMEMADE BRUSCHETTA (topped with spicy "urnebes" spread, 100% beef, red onion, and crushed pepper – a great choice for those who love to spice things up at the table).
We are especially proud of our new section of traditional dishes we’ve named THE HOMEMADE CORNER. This corner features:
- KARAĐORĐE SCHNITZEL (chicken) – A beloved classic in these parts. If you love crispy meals, juicy meat, and clotted cream, this is the dish for you.
- CHICKEN SKEWERS – Juicy meat with vegetables and smoked honey over rice, a flavorful mix that makes this dish a total win!
- VIENNA SCHNITZEL – Served with mashed potatoes and a veggie stew called satarash—a unique combo that takes this well-known dish to the next level.
- STUFFED PORK TENDERLOIN – Filled with gouda and prosciutto, served with breaded polenta coated in parmesan, and topped with a creamy clotted cream sauce.
- ĆEVAPI WITH KAJMAK – 100% beef sausages, flatbread, onion, clotted cream, and our chef’s special sauce will delight your taste buds.
- DUKAT BURGER FOR TWO (HOUSE SPECIALTY) – A juicy burger baked inside flatbread stuffed with cheddar cheese and clotted cream. Something unusual, something delicious, and something that will make you grab a bite right away.
- BEEF TENDERLOIN IN CREAM – Tenderloin in clotted cream, served on flat noodles (mlinci) – a rich dish that will keep you satisfied all day.
- GRILLED SAUSAGES – Served on mashed potatoes with mustard.
- PORK MEDALLIONS IN MUSHROOM SAUCE – Pork medallions topped with a creamy mushroom sauce.
- MEAT PLATTER FOR TWO – If you’re visiting Constantin with a fellow meat lover, this platter is the perfect pick. It includes chicken fillet, grilled sausages, ćevapi, pork tenderloin, served with aromatic potatoes, ajvar, and clotted cream.
